Astrolog has been available for over 30 years, and has been reviewed by
various printed sources over that time. For example:
American Astrology : Astrolog 4.20 was reviewed
by Hank Friedman in the November 1994 issue of American Astrology, p20-21.
"For a free program to have such a superb ephemeris with an 8000-year
range is incredible."
The Mountain Astrologer : Astrolog
5.05 was reviewed in the November 1995 issue of The Mountain Astrologer, p53.
"What I particularly like about the program is that it doesn't force its more
technical options on the novice. If you want them, they're there, but you can
ignore them and get plenty out of the program."
American Astrology : Astrolog was
considered the "Best Freeware/Shareware Program of 1995" in the March 1996 issue of American Astrology, p22. "The
new Windows version is easy enough for a novice to use."
American Astrology : When Astrolog 5.20 first implemented Gauquelin sectors, it was
reviewed by Kenneth Irving in the July 1996 issue of American Astrology, p56-57. "...perhaps commercial software vendors will
follow Pullen's lead. It's long past time."
The Mountain Astrologer : Astrolog
7.30 was reviewed by Hank Friedman in the Aries Equinox 2022 issue of The Mountain Astrologer, p122-123.
"Astrolog 7.30 is a phenomenal program filled with capabilities not
found anywhere else."
Astrolog has received various Web awards over the past three decades:
